The method
Why do the same blocks keep repeating in our lives? "Why am I always stuck in this situation?" "Did I make the right decision?"
Mind Clearing (Clarification du Mental)
Mind Clearing rests on a fundamental discovery by Charles Berner: many difficulties have their origin in a communication that could not be completed.
By fully expressing what could never be said, the emotional charge attached to it begins to dissolve. What was frozen starts to move again. New choices become possible, and another way of being can emerge naturally.
As a Clearer, I do not try to analyse, interpret or fix. My role is to offer a safe, stable and confidential setting, based on genuine listening and deep respect for the person.
In this approach, a human being is not seen as someone who needs to be corrected or healed. They are recognised as fundamentally whole. Mind Clearing therefore does not aim to transform the person, but to help them regain a more direct contact with themselves, to more awareness, freedom of choice and presence.
Why does it work?
The Mind Clearing approach is simple in form, but precise in what it makes possible.
I do not try to analyse your past to explain causes, nor to steer you towards external goals. I do not offer ready-made solutions and do not try to correct you.
I offer you a space for communication in the here and now, where you can explore what you are really experiencing: your thoughts, your emotions, your reactions and the way you relate to yourself and to others.
What makes this process effective is that clarity does not come from analysis or an effort to “understand”, but from the possibility of seeing more directly what is there, without confusion or overlay.
Little by little, what was held back, unseen or tangled in the mind becomes simpler and easier to read. And when the confusion dissolves, a more direct understanding of yourself and your situation appears naturally. From there, answers, choices and directions no longer have to be searched for. They come within reach.
Benefits of this work

- Easing the inner pressure of shame, guilt or self-judgement.
- Regaining clarity in complex situations and leaving behind the feeling of confusion or being stuck.
- Identifying and transforming repetitive patterns, fixed attitudes and limiting beliefs.
- Improving your relationships and setting healthier boundaries.
- Regaining your ability to act when you feel stuck or powerless, and getting your life moving again.
- Making more conscious choices and putting concrete, lasting changes into practice in the important areas of your life.
The dyad
Looking for a practical way to reproduce the deep insights observed in contemplative traditions, Charles Berner developed the dyad as a tool that allows two people to support each other in this exploration.
The dyad offers a unique space for inner exploration and communication with another person. Its format creates a structured and safe setting in which you are not interrupted, advised, judged or corrected.
When what was held back can finally be communicated, something relaxes. The mind clears. New insights become possible, you feel closer to yourself, and emotional charges dissolve.
Three elements give it its strength:
- the full presence and listening of the other person;
- a set time (for example 5 minutes each per turn);
- repetition, which makes it possible to go beyond superficial answers to deep insights.
Simple in form and profound in its effects, the dyad is for many people a unique experience of meeting themselves and the other.
In the transition programme
The three-month programme brings these two practices together, so that you leave with tools you can keep using on your own path.
The lineage
Mind Clearing was founded by Charles Berner, then passed on by Lawrence Noyes, his heir, and in French by Véronique Cherki. I discovered Mind Clearing in 2019. I am listed in Lawrence Noyes’s directory of clearers.
